DESCRIPTION

The project involved renovating two second floor bathrooms, and finishing the basement in a 1960’s home. Outfitting the basement with a play area, exercise room, new bathroom and storage closets was straightforward; however, the layout of the second floor presented a real challenge. In order to create the two new bathrooms we captured the space over a one storey addition behind the Master Bedroom, and reconfigured the area of the two existing baths plus some closets. The resulting Master Bathroom is elegant, spacious and filled with natural light, and the Hall Bath is playful and comfortable for the brother and sister who share it.
